Question 1. How would you assess this person's performance in the area(s) you have observed? Were there any specific successes or areas for improvement?
"I have worked with Brandy on SMC sheet molding compound material and phenolic material this past year. Brandy's technical knowledge, even if she says she's a bit rusty on the topic, holds its weight in conversations with suppliers, molding experts, engineers with PhDs. I initially underestimated Brandy and/or did not truly realize the level of depth to which she can analyze a material failure. I bring the product knowledge, testing set up, etc. and Brandy takes everything in and synthesizes it into coherent logic. The added value is that Brandy teaches me how she arrived at her conclusions which allows me to then problem solve on the job and find more hidden links which Brandy then adds additional value to. Brandy's reports are very thorough, which I absolutely love! I usually take test results and snip them into my presentations, but Brandy's work can hold its own and I love show casing it off in our UL meetings and to our quality teams down in Mexico. Brandy's work on the multi-pole handle 48118-775-01 and QOVH cover 48118-444-04 received a lot of recognition and scrutiny in are twice/thrice weekly meetings for numerous months out of the year. In the end, the stakeholders and management were both impressed and convinced of the need for action (planned for 2021). Areas for improvement: (1) Please let me know when I am underestimating you or bypassing you earlier on/upfront. I've made it one of my goals for 2021 to be consciously aware of this, but at times we're being pushed to move so fast that I'm focused on results, dates, and money more than individuals. (2) Can you share you Excel knowledge with me/others? We are impressed and jealous, but feel a bit left in the dark after we get off the calls with you. (3) Brandy seems to be online really late some nights, especially with the time change. Make sure you're taking time for yourself to reenergize. We certainly need you healthy and happy!."

Question 1. How would you assess this person's performance in the area(s) you have observed? Were there any specific successes or areas for improvement?
"I believe that Brandy's performance exceeds what is necessary. As always, Brandy is willing to go the extra mile and help. I know that I can count on her to help me, even on the spur of the moment. She has a customer first attitude. That customer first attitude is both internal and external customers. She provides thorough analysis and investigations, taking on extra learning by research. She truly acts like an owner as she accepts tasks, follows through to completion, and cares about the results. I can tell that she takes ownership. I enjoy working with her and know she is a top professional in all she does."
Question 2. How did they achieve these results? Was their overall behavior aligned with the Schneider Core Values (and Leadership Expectations if a people manager or senior leader)? Did they show any particular strengths or areas for development?
"One specific example last year was an occurrence at a large data center. The customer noticed some tarnish and discoloration in their new equipment beyond what was expected. In my investigation, I returned parts to the lab for analysis. As usual, she performed a thorough and timely analysis, providing the feedback necessary for the customer and business to make the necessary decisions. During that analysis, she also took on added tasks to determine the impact of an unapproved cleaner on the equipment. She researched the topic, devised a testing regime, and provided valuable feedback. I believe this example shows how she exceeds in what she does."
